Our shipping services are designed for bulk B2B orders, with flexible terms to meet your business requirements.
Incoterms & Delivery Terms
We offer flexible shipping terms based on Incoterms 2020. Choose the option that best suits your logistics needs:
FOB (Free On Board)
- Description: Goods delivered to the port of shipment (Colombo Port, Sri Lanka)
- Seller Responsibility: Export clearance, loading onto vessel
- Buyer Responsibility: Ocean freight, insurance, import clearance, destination delivery
- Best For: Buyers with established shipping agents
CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight)
- Description: Goods delivered to destination port with freight and insurance included
- Seller Responsibility: Export clearance, ocean freight, marine insurance
- Buyer Responsibility: Import clearance, customs duties, inland transportation
- Best For: Buyers preferring turnkey shipping solutions
CFR (Cost and Freight)
- Description: Similar to CIF but without insurance coverage
- Seller Responsibility: Export clearance, ocean freight
- Buyer Responsibility: Insurance, import clearance, destination delivery
- Best For: Buyers with their own insurance arrangements
EXW (Ex Works)
- Description: Goods available for pickup at our facility in Sri Lanka
- Seller Responsibility: Make goods available at our warehouse
- Buyer Responsibility: All transportation, clearance, and insurance
- Best For: Buyers managing entire logistics chain
Shipping Methods
Sea Freight (Primary Method)
- Full Container Load (FCL): 20ft or 40ft containers for large orders
- Less than Container Load (LCL): Available for smaller shipments
- Transit Time: 15-45 days depending on destination
- Cost-Effective: Best for bulk shipments
Air Freight (Express Option)
- Availability: For urgent or sample orders
- Transit Time: 3-7 days to major destinations
- Higher Cost: Premium pricing for speed
- Weight Restrictions: Subject to airline cargo limits

20ft Container (Standard)
- Internal Dimensions: 5.9m (L) × 2.35m (W) × 2.39m (H)
- Maximum Payload: Approximately 28,000 kg
- Cocopeat Blocks: ~22-24 tons / 1,000-1,200 blocks
- Cocopeat Grow Bags: ~18-20 tons / 2,000-2,500 bags
40ft Container (High Cube)
- Internal Dimensions: 12.03m (L) × 2.35m (W) × 2.69m (H)
- Maximum Payload: Approximately 26,500 kg
- Cocopeat Blocks: ~24-26 tons / 2,200-2,500 blocks
- Cocopeat Grow Bags: ~20-22 tons / 4,500-5,000 bags

- Compressed and shrink-wrapped in PE film
- Stacked on pallets for container loading
- Waterproof packaging to protect from moisture
- Labels with product specifications and batch numbers
Cocopeat Grow Bags
- Individual PP bags with UV protection
- Bundled in master cartons or shrink-wrapped pallets
- Reinforced stitching for durability
- Clear labeling for product identification

Order Processing
- Order Confirmation: 1-2 business days after payment/LC confirmation
- Production Time: 7-14 days for standard products
- Custom Orders: 14-21 days for customized specifications
- Quality Control: 2-3 days for inspection and testing

- Container Booking: 3-5 days advance booking with shipping lines
- Port Transit: 2-4 days at Colombo Port

Insurance Coverage
CIF Shipments
For CIF terms, we arrange marine cargo insurance covering:
- Loss or damage during ocean transit
- Coverage: 110% of invoice value
- Institute Cargo Clauses (ICC) coverage
- All-risk protection against standard maritime perils
FOB/CFR Shipments
Buyers are responsible for arranging their own insurance. We can recommend trusted insurance providers upon request.
Tracking & Monitoring
- Shipment Updates: Regular email notifications on shipment status
- Container Tracking: Tracking numbers provided for real-time monitoring
- Documentation: Scanned copies sent via email upon shipment
- Customer Support: Dedicated support for shipping inquiries
Customs & Import Duties
Buyers are responsible for all import-related costs and procedures at the destination country, including:
- Import duties and taxes
- Customs clearance fees
- Port handling charges
- Inland transportation from port to final destination
- Any quarantine or inspection fees
We recommend consulting with a customs broker in your country for accurate duty calculations.
Shipping Delays & Force Majeure
While we strive for on-time delivery, shipping schedules may be affected by:
